Turk's head

This is the first Turk's head I've ever wrapped, done at my lesson a couple weeks ago. I've been playing for 29 years. As it turns out, making that ball of string isn't as hard as I'd thought all this time.

  1. I can just recommend using two threads. It makes the knot (turk head in english?) look much better, and it is so much faster.

It looks like you use cotton thread, which in my opinion is better, since it absorbs the glue (or whatever you put on it) and becomes rock hard. Synthetic thread just looks bad.
